Ms Facer’s work is not only an academic achievement, but works toward filling a longstanding shortfall in the American culture eg , lack of a multilingual capability. Her work is essential to our future global economic success and national security. Her strides in learning technology will enable people who otherwise have a lower aptitude for foreign languages become successful multilingual speakers.
